Jalang'o Confident in Nairobi Senate Bid

Lang'ata MP Phelix Odiwuor, popularly known as Jalang'o, has expressed confidence in his bid for the Nairobi Senate seat in the 2027 General Election.

Jalang'o, who will not defend his parliamentary seat, believes divine intervention has guided his political journey and will accept whatever path is chosen for him.

He has dismissed claims that he may be forced to return to radio if he fails to win the Senate seat, stating that he does not see himself going back to broadcasting.

Jalang'o's decision to contest the Senate seat has opened up the Lang'ata parliamentary race, with several aspirants seeking to succeed him, including Dr Davji Atellah and Abass Khalif.
